Turned from acacia, a dense hardwood with pronounced grain. The colour shifts from pale gold to deep brown across a single piece, so no two bowls are the same. Wood never takes the uniform polish of synthetic materials - that is the point of it.

Lighter than it looks. A ceramic bowl this size would weigh two or three times as much - at 620g, this one can be carried to the table one-handed.

We use ours mostly for roasted root vegetable salads, though it will hold whatever you like.

Care
Wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dry straight after. Do not submerge or soak. Not dishwasher safe. To maintain the wood over time, apply olive oil with a dry lint-free cloth.
