A single Japanese-style cup, glazed so one colour fades into another down the side. Four colourways to choose from: Starry Sky Blue, deep blue into near-black; Coffee Gold, amber into brown; Sea Mist Green, soft green into white; and Shoreline Blue, coral into pale blue. The glaze is reactive, so no two cups come out the same. Yours will be a little different from the one in the photo, which is rather the point.

At 220ml it's a good size for coffee - bigger than an espresso, smaller than a mug, about right for a flat white or a morning coffee. No handle, so you hold it in your hands and feel the warmth come through the stoneware. Part of the pleasure of drinking this way.
