A bamboo whisk is a delicate thing by design. Its fine tines are what give matcha its froth, and they hold their shape best when dried on a form rather than left flat in a drawer, where they lose their curve and stay damp.

This ceramic holder is that form. After rinsing, set the whisk over the dome so the tines dry splayed and keep their fan - which is what keeps it whisking well, and keeps it from wearing out before its time.
