Season Stainless Steel Slotted Grill Tongs
A standard pair of tongs grips food but can't get underneath it; a spatula gets underneath but can't grip. These do both. The jaws are flat and slotted, shaped like two fish slices that meet, so you can slide them under a fillet, a burger or a flat mushroom and turn it in one move, without it folding or dropping.
The slots drain fat and juices as you lift, rather than carrying them along with the food.
They're stainless steel throughout, made for the heat of a barbecue and for use with cast iron and stainless steel pans. The same steel that stands up to those will mark a non-stick coating, so keep them off non-stick.
